Welcome to the Administrative Rules website.  This website informs the public about the Arizona Department of Health Services' (Department) rulemakings, substantive policy statements, agency guidance documents, and staff contact information. 
 
 

IMPORTANT NOTICE: The rulemaking moratorium has been extended. The Department will not be conducting regular rulemaking activities, unless authorized by an exception, until after June 30, 2011 due to the rulemaking moratorium established in Laws 2010, 49th Legislature, 2d Regular Session, Ch. 287, § 18.

  
The Administrative Rules Office is composed of the Acting Manager, Thomas Salow, and senior rules analysts.  Rules, five-year-review reports, and substantive policy statements are drafted by the senior rules analysts who report to the Acting Manager.
